Gaming convention comes to Surrey

Nothing But Games kicks off inaugural two day event

The West Coast Science Fiction Association (WCSFA) is excited to launch Nothing But Games, a new two-day gaming convention for Metro Vancouver. Nothing But Games takes place June 17th and 18th at the Sheraton Guildford in Surrey.

Nothing But Games will feature a variety of gaming options for beginners and long-time fans.

  • Board games
  • Modern and retro console games
  • Retro PC LAN games
  • Miniature games
  • Tabletop role play games (RPGs)
  • Popular collectible card games (CCGs)

“Nothing But Games will bring together players of all types for 32 hours of gaming fun,” says Andrea Driedger, WCSFA’s social media coordinator. “Metro Vancouver has an active and welcome gaming community. If you love games, or are wanting to learn, we invite you to come join us.”

Game stewards will be teaching games for new players or fans looking to find something new. There will also be game tournaments, a large borrowing library, and vendors selling games and game-related merchandise. Tickets are $25 for one day or $35 for full weekend passes.
