Two Geeky Markets Invite Fans to Make a Day of It in New Westminster on July 11
NEW WESTMINSTER, BC — Local fans, collectors, gamers, artists, cosplayers, and treasure hunters will have twice the reason to visit New Westminster on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as two community-focused geek markets take place just a short trip apart.
Fandom Bazaar, hosted by the West Coast Speculative Fiction Association (WCSFA), will run from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sapperton Community Hall, 318 Keary Street. Twitch Vancouver’s First Annual Art & Games Market will run at the Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia Street, with Premium ticket holders admitted at 11:00 AM and general admission open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Together, the two events offer a full day of fandom-friendly browsing, community connection, and creative discovery in New Westminster.
Fandom Bazaar is a one-day geek flea market featuring vendors selling treasures from personal collections, handmade goods, fan-friendly finds, collectibles, books, games, toys, art, crafts, and other nerdy delights. Admission is $5 for non-members, while WCSFA members may show their member card for free entry. Kids 7 and under also get in free.
Twitch Vancouver’s First Annual Art & Games Market will feature an artist and vendor alley, indie game developer showcases, a cosplay contest, and a voice acting panel. General admission is $15, with Premium Supporter and shirt bundle ticket options also available.
“New Westminster is going to be an excellent place for geeks looking for bargains, handmade goods, elusive treasures, and unexpected finds on July 11,” said Jenni Merrifield, President of WCSFA. “With two markets happening so close together, fans can make a day of it — browse one event, hop over to the other, and support a whole lot of local creativity and community in the process.”

The two organizing teams are encouraging attendees to consider visiting both markets as part of a shared New Westminster fandom day.
